How it works

Three steps. The first is ready today; the other two arrive with the first games.

    With your email address. Only you, the parent, have an account.

  2. Add your child

    A nickname, the school year, a colour and the language of each subject. No surname, no photo.

  3. They play; you see everything

    About ten minutes a day on your tablet or phone. You see each answer, each try and how long it took.

Sums, until they come on their own

The first version covers 2nd-year maths: quick sums from 0 to 9, friends of 10, three numbers, sums with and without carrying, subtraction without borrowing, and patterns. The games arrive in parts, starting with the sums.

Find the pair that makes 10: 8 + 2 = 10. Then 10 + 5 = 15.

Natural sciences

Unit 1, in the language of the class

Unit 1 of Ciències de la natura: living things and the vital functions, the stages of life, bones, muscles and joints, the food groups, digestion and breathing. In Valencian, as many schools in the Comunitat Valenciana teach it, or in Spanish.

Every answer, every try, every second

You will see what your child answered, how many tries it took, how long each one took and whether they needed a tip. And the sum garden: a flower for each of the 100 sums from 0 + 0 to 9 + 9, which blooms once it comes quickly and right.

I’m a dad. My daughter Emi is seven and in the 2nd year of primary school, and this year sums and natural sciences were hard for her: she counted slowly, and her science unit came in Valencian, full of new words.

I wanted her to practise a little every day, playing, and to see for myself where she hesitated. I found nothing that followed her textbook, in her school’s languages and without ads, so I built it for her.

Now any family can use it, for free.

Which curriculum does it follow?

The Comunitat Valenciana’s for the 2nd year of primary school, unit by unit, as in Emi’s textbook. A family from elsewhere can join too and use what fits.

In which language?

Each subject in the language your child’s school teaches it in: in the first version, maths in Spanish, and natural sciences in Valencian or in Spanish. The parents’ pages are in Spanish or English.

Does it cost anything?

No. Mochilita is free, with no ads and nothing to buy.

Who sees my child’s answers?

Only your family’s parents: you, and whoever you invite to your family. No one else.
